The Hotel is a six floors building with single, double and triple rooms. Rooms are equipped with every modern comforts, Sat-TV, safe, hair dryer, direct line phone, mini bar, individual air conditioning and heating.

The most of our rooms have a balcony with a splendid view on the Arno River and the Florentine hills with its villas and castles.

We can offer the services of Room only, Room and Buffet Breakfast, Half Board, and Full Board.

Some of our rooms are specially equipped for disabled Clients and at the Hotel entrance we have an electric elevator for wheel-chairs. On request we can book rooms for smokers.

Breakfast

The Buffet Breakfast, with a selected choice of hot and cold dishes is served from 7,00 a.m. to 10,30 a.m. and, on request, even in the rooms.

Restaurant

The restaurant, open also to the external Clients, managed by the well-known Tuscan Maitre Guido Puccini, marries the international cuisine with the tipical and tasty Tuscan and Florentine way of cooking.

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.

The Dinner "a la carte" lists typical dishes of our Region cooked on demand, as "Choice of Diletto canapees", "Flakes of Pasta with olive and mill's Oil", thin Meat slices "a la Medici", the real Florentine Beef Steak, sliced Beef Steak with Rucola and Parmigiano Cheese, all accompanied by Chianti Wine, bottled in our Farm.

We recommend Cantuccini Biscuits with almonds dunked in Pomino Vin Santo, 5 years old for a very special Dessert.

American Bar

To offer its Clientele a more agreeable stay, the Columbus Hotel renewed the American Bar with Terrace-Garden (open from 6,00 p.m. till 12,00 p.m).

For Happy Hours in the Summer, the Roof-Garden on 6th floor is the ideal place for a superb panoramic view of Florence, its green hills, historical Villas, Castles and Medicean Fortress.

Meetings and conferences

The hotel has a large lounge with comfortable sofas and armchairs.

At the Columbus Hotel we can organize, in its Great Hall, Conferences, Congresses, Banquets, meetings, ceremonies and Parties. Free Wi-Fi available in the main hall.

Groups

The Columbus Hotel welcomes with pleasure Students' Groups, Sport's Groups and Senior's Groups. To them are reserved spaces where organize meetings, parlour Games and Dancing evenings with Live Music.

Shopping: malls and Outlet Villages

Departing from the central train Station special free bus services to the most important Outlet Villages and Malls such as "IKEA" , McArthurGlen Barberino Outlet and "Valdichiana".
